Run For The Reef brought together two hundred runners at Bang Tao Beach for a morning dedicated to movement, community, and coastal conservation. Organised by Arinara Beach Resort Phuket and Bang Tao Social Club, the event raised funds to support our ongoing work protecting the reefs and marine environments that define Phuket.
As the official sustainability partners for the race, we were thrilled to see such strong community turnout. Participants tackled the 3-kilometre fun run before enjoying a healthy breakfast, securing lucky draw prizes, and joining an organised beach clean-up where runners received limited-edition tokens.
Our team also competed in the race itself, securing a fantastic second place finish out of 250 participants. Beyond the results on the course, the real success lies in what this partnership represents. Events like Run For The Reef prove that local tourism and grassroots community groups can unite to create tangible environmental impact.
