The average carbon footprint of a tourist in Phuket is 3.32 tons per person per stay. This calculation is based on data from the past 2 years, considering an average length of stay of 5 days, the average use of taxi/car/boat, average electricity consumption, and the average air miles flown.

Therefore, your BluePass comes to 1,660 THB (approximately 50 USD) per person. By making a donation of 1,660 THB (approximately 50 USD), you are offsetting the impact of your Phuket holiday’s carbon emissions and contributing to the restoration of the marine ecosystem through OFA’s projects.

Oceans For All foundation has set the value of its BLUEPASS at 500 baht per ton of C02. This figure is based on the lowest carbon offset price applied today worldwide.

อ้างอิงจากข้อมูลอย่างเป็นทางการในปี 2561 จากกระทรวงพลังงานของไทย (www.eppo.go.th) ปริมาณการใช้คาร์บอน 1 กิโลวัตต์หมายถึง 0.515 กิโลกรัมที่คาร์บอนถูกส่งสู่ชั้นบรรยากาศ

Example: In Phuket a family with an electricity bill of around 3000 THB per month (approx. 800Kw). means a carbon footprint of 4.9 tons of CO2 per year. Therefore, the corresponding price of their BLUEPASS is 2,450 THB / year.
