LTC-001 Returns to The Kamala Klongs for Monsoon Season

During the monsoon season, heavy rains flush large volumes of waste from inland areas into canals like the Kamala Klong, making coastal pollution a major concern. Our coastal cleaner catamaran, LTC001, continues to operate daily from this vital waterway, intercepting plastic and debris before it flows into the Andaman Sea.

In May alone, our fleet of Licence to Clean catamarans collected a total of 61,215 litres of plastic waste from Phuket and Bangkok’s waterways. Each litre represents harmful material that will no longer threaten the delicate marine ecosystem. This ongoing effort is made possible thanks to the support of our partners, volunteers, and sponsors who believe in a cleaner, healthier ocean.
