Expanding Marine Restoration Efforts with AXA Thailand

Our commitment to restoring Thailand’s marine ecosystems relies on the strength of our corporate partnerships. Recently, Oceans For All Foundation welcomed the management team from AXA Insurance, led by Chief Executive Officer Guillaume Mirabaud, to review the progress of our ongoing collaborative conservation initiatives.

The partnership has already achieved measurable success through the deployment of two specialised catamarans. These vessels are currently operational in the Chao Phraya River as part of our ‘License to Clean‘ project, which remains a vital line of defence in intercepting plastic waste before it reaches the open ocean.

Furthering this mission, our teams recently gathered at JW Marriott Khao Lak in Phang Nga to release juvenile bamboo sharks into the Andaman Sea. These sharks play a critical role in maintaining the health and balance of local coral reefs. By returning these predators to their natural habitat, we are actively strengthening the resilience of our underwater environments.

Protecting biodiversity is a long-term investment. It is not merely about immediate results, but about ensuring a stable future for the oceans that support us all. Every shark released and every kilogramme of waste collected brings us closer to a sustainable marine future. We look forward to our next environmental event at Khao Lak as we continue to expand our impact.

We invite you to join us in these efforts. Your support allows us to maintain our shark nurseries and keep our cleaning vessels on the water where they are needed most.
