Baby bamboo sharks released with the Phuket Marine Biological Centre

Jul 19, 2020

OFA Foundation released 20 juvenile bamboo sharks into their natural environment in collaboration with the Phuket Marine Biological Center, as part of our effort to protect marine biodiversity around the island.
We wish to thank Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort for organising and hosting an amazing charity brunch to support the cause. The entire resort team led by its charismatic General Manager Vincent Delsol went far beyond expected to make sure the 200+ guests had a memorable Sunday Brunch. Thanks to all the people that joined the event. A special thank you to Phuket’s new governor, Narong Woonchiew, for joining the event and release himself 2 baby sharks. Last but not least, a Grand Merci to the OFA team, advisors, ambassadors and volunteers present at the event for their dedication and support. On behalf of all forms of marine life surrounding our island, Thank you
