Last week at JW Marriott Khao Lak Beach Resort<\/a>, we saw exactly what happens when creative energy meets a commitment to the environment. The “Rooted in Land, Guided by the Sea” event wasn’t just about beautiful aesthetics; it was a celebration of the delicate balance we work every day to protect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The evening began with art\u2014the installation of Ludalet\u2019s pieces and live batik painting by Uncle Su. It was a moment to slow down and appreciate the natural rhythms of Khao Lak. But the highlight for our team happened the next morning, when that appreciation turned into direct action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together with the JW Marriott team, we released three juvenile brownbanded bamboo sharks<\/strong> back into the wild.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These little guys have been with us for a while. We\u2019ve spent the last six months carefully nurturing them from eggs, watching them grow and develop their distinctive markings. Releasing them into the Andaman Sea is always a proud moment for Oceans For All; it\u2019s the culmination of months of stewardship and a tangible win for local biodiversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This collaboration is a perfect example of how hospitality and conservation can move forward together. A huge thank you to the resort for their continued support through Marriott\u2019s Serve 360 program and for inviting us to be part of such a meaningful transition from land to sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
