Team Sea Garden Project Update – March 2025

As we enter April, the team at Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort are preparing to plant around 36 pots of seagrass into the Panwa Bay.

Seagrass plays a crucial role in the marine ecosystem by providing habitat and food for diverse marine life, including fish, sea turtles, and dugongs. It also helps stabilize the seabed, improves water quality by trapping sediments, and acts as a powerful carbon sink, absorbing and storing large amounts of CO₂.
