On 25 December 2025, Oceans For All Foundation and Amanpuri came together for their annual ReSharking event, turning the festive season into a moment of meaningful action for the ocean. This year’s milestone saw 21 juvenile bamboo sharks released into the Andaman Sea through the Foundation’s Shark Nursery programme.
Each release represents years of careful monitoring, scientific guidance, and hands-on care, ensuring the sharks are healthy and ready to thrive in their natural environment. Bamboo sharks play an important role in maintaining balance within reef ecosystems, and their return helps strengthen marine biodiversity over time.
ReSharking reflects the power of long-term collaboration between conservation and hospitality. Together, Oceans For All Foundation and Amanpuri continue to demonstrate that sustained partnerships can deliver measurable, lasting benefits for the marine ecosystems that support coastal communities and future generations.
