Surin Phuket and Aman academy welcome OFA

Thanks to the Amazing The Surin Phuket and Aman academy for welcoming Oceans For All.

We had the great opportunity to organize a workshop about sharks and explain the different programs led by the foundation to a very enthusiastic group of 50 people.

We also proceed to release 20 juvenile bamboo sharks with the objective to repopulate the reef.

It was indeed a perfect opportunity for the group to learn about sharks, as they watched these vulnerable creatures make their way across the sea.

Scientists agree that conserving the apex predator is vital to avoid catastrophic climate change because of its ability to regulate the fragile balance of the marine ecosystem.

Urban legend and the Hollywood industry have taught us to fear sharks.

10 people per year are killed by sharks and it is always by mistake of identity but, every day, 273.973 sharks are killed by humans just for soup so let us ask you something…Which one should be afraid of the other?

You can make an impact. Help us change attitudes toward this nature’s precious animal. Support Oceans For All Foundation.
